Nikki Smith, CRP, GMS began her real estate career as a sales associate for a small broker representing a builder in Memphis, TN. It was from there that she discovered relocation after working with a transferee from Fedex. The always changing, fast paced environment of corporate relocations had her hooked.
After her 4th relocation with her husband’s job, Nikki landed in Richmond, VA and is proud to call this vibrant city her home since 2007. Now considering herself part of the Richmond landscape, some of her favorite times outside the office include enjoying equestrian activities, being a sports mom, walking/hiking the trails of Pocahontas State Park, and shopping at the many local vendors RVA has to offer. Nikki sets her goals high both professionally and personally and strives to achieves and surpass them while maintaining the utmost professionals, integrity and dedication in the industry.
Nikki is an active member of Worldwide ERC, earning the Certified Relocation Professional & Global Mobility Specialist-Talent (CRP & GMS-T) designations. In 2016, Nikki was awarded the ERC Meritorious Service award for her dedicated service and professional contributions to the industry. She also is a member of the Certification Review Board Committee which provides overall guidance for the council's Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) program. Locally, Nikki serves as Membership Chairman for the Greater Richmond Relocation Council. She has recently earned her Citizen’s Leadership Certificate from the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce. Nikki brings her 12+ years of total relocation experience to The Steele Group Sotheby’s International Realty group. She works closely with relocation management companies, corporate clients, individuals and families to assess the client’s needs and ensure an efficient and smooth relocation transition.
